c) beautification - choose 2-3 areas to work on for spruce up day
What else can we do to dress up the area? Mulch, clean up, ask for donations of plants and mulch from parents (Evans?) Dress up the windows with children's art work (see Karen A) Create an "Ask Me About" area Will Fire Marshall approve the paper on the window? Tonya will help Karen A consult with grade levels. Use the Show What You Know theme to connect it to achievement. Tie it into SUmmit Success. Theme: Children preparing to make the world a better place...... or...... Success for all students.
Piecing together a successful future. White puzzle pieces on dark/bright background. Try Mylar for the background. Get a couple of puzzle pieces cut out and try it with different backgrounds. Vocab word on each one. Have a duplicate

c) UbD requirements - is everyone clear on this? Binders to be shared at May 6th staff meeting.
